    This role is regulated by FINRA.

    As a Barclays Collateralized Loan Obligation (CLO) Structurer, you’ll be a deal team member participating in the execution of new-issue CLOs. You will work closely with a Deal Captain to bring a CLO to market from inception to Closing. As a deal team member, you’ll interact directly with the managers we bring to market, as well as the investors who participate in our transactions. This is an opportunity to be the main contact for rating agencies and have consistent dialogue with both internal and external counsel.

    Salary / Rate Minimum: 125,000
    Salary / Rate Maximum: 175,000

    What will you be doing?

    • Participating in all aspects of deal execution and interacting with CLO Issuers, senior structuring team members, Syndicate, Sales, Legal Counsel, Rating Agencies and Investors
    • Modelling CLO transactions and providing portfolio analyses, structuring the CLO, running rating agency stress tests and responding to investors’ requests
    • Coordinating the rating agency and documentation process and negotiating deal terms with managers, investors and rating agencies
    • Preparing marketing materials for new transactions and participating in conference calls and marketing road shows
    • Being responsible for coordinating the transaction closing process, including warehouse reconciliation
    • Tracking and monitoring the desk’s P&L and reconciling with the internal finance teams

    What we’re looking for:

    • Undergraduate degree
    • Two or more years of experience with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word
    • Two or more years of experience in securitization structuring or capital markets

    Skills that will help you in the role:

    • Excellent analytical, quantitative, written and oral communication skills and attention to detail
    • Registered Representative (Series 7, 63 & 79) with VBA/programming skills
    • Experience in CLOs and knowledge of rating agency criteria and regulations, as well as experience in using Intexcalc, Intex Dealmaker, S&P Cash Flow Evaluator, Moody’s CDO Edge
    • Ability to work in a high pressure environment while applying the highest standards of controls and risk management practices and behaviors

    You will be working at our Americas Headquarters at 745 Seventh Avenue. This 32-story office tower is located in Times Square in the heart of Manhattan and features a cafeteria, fitness center and state-of-the-art LED signage on the facade of the building.
