As a Barclays Collateralized Loan Obligation (CLO) Trading Desk Analyst, Vice President, you will support the CLO & Non-Agency trading desk in daily trading and risk management roles, calculating P&L and daily pricing, as well as bond analysis, surveillance, and other various projects. You will have the opportunity to join a client facing trading operation focused on securitizations backed by residential loan. You will trade all areas of Non-Agency Trading Market and provide secondary market liquidity to serve the investment needs clients.
Salary / Rate Minimum: $155,000
Salary / Rate Maximum: $250,000

What will you be doing?
• Being responsible for calculating daily P&L, risk exposures, hedges and various other market driven metrics
• Generating bond models for potential investments as well as surveillance of existing positions
• Working on enhancements of internal infrastructure and framework, including automation of processes and collaboration with various groups within Barclays
• Being responsible for managing inventory along with hedges and their associated risks according to risk guidelines
• Supporting and tracking secondary bidlists and new issue pricing
• Interacting with Product Control Group to review daily P&L as well as interacting with Operations to clear any trade or settlement issues where necessary
• Being responsible for ensuring Trading Due Diligence is completed in a timely manner
• Working with infrastructure partners to maintain control environment
What we’re looking for:
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, Mathematics, and three to five years of experience at a financial services firm securitized products team
• Excellent analytical and logical reasoning skills
• Ability to quickly learn and adapt to a changing trading and policy environment
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Bloomberg, Intex Dealmaker, Yieldbook
