COLLATERAL MANAGEMENT ANALYST

As a Barclays Collateral Management Analyst you will be working closely with the PDS Business to provide our large client base with exceptional service and optimal business solutions. You will have primary contact for a suite of clients which will involve full operation management of the client from winning the mandate through to Go Live and beyond.

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?

• Ensuring clients’ margin calculations and comparisons are performed daily, to satisfy client requirements and minimize Barclays’ risk

• Being familiar with legal documentation including PBA, ISDA CSA, GMRA, etc.

• Ensuring effective co-ordination of clients’ cash management requests between London, Whippany, New York, and India

• Ensuring all regulatory obligations are met daily, including Variation Margin Calls for OTC Derivative clients

• Ensuring all client queries are dealt with in a timely and professional manner

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or Mathematics 

• Basic knowledge of collateral, cash and derivatives trading products

• Self-starter with the ability to work on their own initiative as well as being a solid team player

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

SKILLS THAT WILL HELP YOU IN THE ROLE:

• Comfortable working in a fast paced environment 

• Collateral Managements and /or general Operations experience

• Due to potential regulatory and reputational risks, candidate should feel comfortable escalating concerns and fails in a timely manner

• Ability for streamlining process flows and solid problem solving skills, while providing flexibility for change management when necessary
