PROGRAM DATES

The Summer Internship Program is a 12-week, full-time program which runs from JUNE 4 – AUGUST 24, 2018.

• Prepare a full range of communications support to Consumer and Business Banking to deliver consistent and effective messages to team members, improve employee engagement and drive achievement of desired business goals.

• Support retail needs on the Branch and CIC Portals.

• Draft thoughtful, concise articles for Consumer and Business Banking communications and ensure communications approvals by appropriate parties to meet audit requirements. Complete research as needed to draft communications

• Use Content Management system to post completed, approved stories and graphics on the intranet.

• Develop and/or source graphics, edit and prepare to be publication ready for use on the intranet with articles to be posted and in communication emails.

• Assist with content management for the Branch and CIC Portals including preparation of change forms, and participation in portal audits.

APPLICANT REQUIREMENTS

• Must have an expected graduation date between December 2018 – June 2019.
• Must have an overall cumulative GPA of 3.00 or above.
• Must be available to work full-time, 40 hours per week, for the duration of the program.
• NOTE: U.S. Immigration sponsorship is not available for this position.

QUALIFICATIONS

• English or journalism major
• Strong working knowledge of MS Office Products, Intra/Internet, Adobe Professional
• Content Management Systems Knowledge (WordPress, SharePoint)
• Ability to work well under pressure
• Superior analytical, written and verbal communication skills
• Detail-oriented, self-motivated, possess organizational skills
• Ability to multi-task
• Ability to work independently
• Ability to work well as part of a highly collaborative team
• Strong interpersonal skills, self-confident, strong logical and critical thinking skills

SUMMER INTERNSHIP PROGRAM EXPERIENCE

Santander Bank’s Summer Internship Program provides participants with a meaningful, relevant work experience as part of their academic studies.
