    Summer Internship program experience:

    Santander Bank’s Summer Internship Program provides participants with a meaningful, relevant work experience as part of their academic studies.     Program Dates

    The Summer Internship Program is a 12-week, full-time program whichruns from June 4 – August 24, 2018.

    JOB DESCRIPTION

    The CIB Intern will work for corporate & Investment Banking (across multiple sectors - TMT, Consumer, Retail, General Industries, etc.), in which he/she will help the team achieve their annual budget by supporting each member with client strategy, presentations, internal processes and business tasks.

    Duties:

    • Interpret and save data from market data systems as Bloomberg, internal Bank systems, S&P and Capital IQ.
    • Support Associates, VPs and Bankers in preparing pitch book materials for clients and internal presentations.
    • Monitor and track pipeline activity and forecasting for general purposes.
    • Collaborate and liaise with Product, Legal and compliance teams.
    • Understanding of financial statements and corporate credit.

    APPLICANT REQUIREMENTS

    • Must have an expected graduation date between December 2018 – June 2019.
    • Must have an overall cumulative GPA of 3.50 or above.
    • Must be available to work full-time, 40 hours per week, for the duration of the program.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • Major in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics or related field.
    • Excellent written and verbal English language skills.
    • Experience with Excel, PowerPoint, and Bloomberg.
    • Entrepreneurship spirit.
    • General knowledge of accounting.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Adaptability to work in a fast-paced market environment.
    • Solid professional and personal work ethic.
