    As a Barclays Corporate Planning and Report Analyst, you’ll be responsible for reporting to the Director, CFO Business Partner, Planning & Analysis, and will assist the entire team in reporting, data analysis, and financial modeling through the forecasting cycles (monthly, quarterly, and annually). You’ll work in collaboration across the team and be expected to build & maintain solid, collaborative relationships across the business and the Finance teams coordinating assumptions with the Corporate Development, Cost, Financial Control, and etc.

    What will you be doing?

    • Understanding financial results and P&L drivers, metrics and trends to build accurate forecasts (assisting with partner and segment allocations as required)
    • Analyzing of performance comparing actuals versus forecast to identify opportunities and risks for the business
    • Summarizing data pulls, data cleaning, data reconciliation, and performance drivers
    • Building scenarios and sensitivities around new MEV’s, new opportunities/risk as well as other factors
    • Helping prepare Management Information slides/decks to effectively communicate results, opportunities, and risks to Senior Management
    • Collaborating and interacting with multiple levels across the Finance Team

    What we’re looking for?

    • Analytical, technical and statistical skills with proven ability to process data into meaningful information and advanced Microsoft Excel skills are critical
    • Excellent interpersonal, multi-tasking, teamwork, and communication skills are critical and 2 plus years of analytical experience in financial services industry or Finance Division
    • Ideal candidate will be proactive, dedicated self-starter who has the courage to ask questions and challenge the status quo
    • Result oriented with the ability to bring closure to issues through working well with individuals and teams throughout the organization

    Skills that will help you in the role:

    • Degree in Finance or Quantitative disciplines preferred
    • Bachelor’s degree minimum
    • Knowledge and understanding of Essbase, Hyperion Planning, SAS, SQL experience a plus
