CORRESPONDENT BANKING INVESTIGATIONS (CBI) ANALYST

As a Barclays Correspondent Banking Investigations analyst you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with policies, procedures and US regulations for the Barclays NY Correspondent Banking and Corporate Banking lines of business in relation to AML surveillance. You will ensure Barclays NY meets its statutory obligations for reporting suspicious activity, and Compliance with the Barclays stated values.

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?

• Ensuring compliance with policies, procedures and US regulations for the NY Branch Correspondent Banking and Corporate Banking lines of business 

• Ensuring the bank meets its obligations with respect to responses from law enforcement and regulatory agencies

• Investigating of suspicious activity from alerts generated by surveillance systems

• Working on projects that support the team and improve efficiencies

• Actively participating in team meetings and contribute to workflow improvement/efficiency ideas

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

• Four-year college degree/Finance or international equivalent 

• Two or more years of AML Compliance and Bank Secrecy Act or other relevant experience

• Two or more years of research and/or investigations including Fraud, AML, Credit or Risk

• Two or more years of Microsoft office applications and Internet search tools

SKILLS THAT WILL HELP YOU IN THE ROLE:

• Experience in Compliance, Risk, Operations or Control

• Knowledge of Correspondent Banking

• CAMS certification
