    This role is regulated by FINRA.

    As a Barclays Credit Research Analyst – TMT, you will be the junior analyst coverage for the investment grade telecom, media, and technology sector. You will handle coverage universe, which could include 30 to 50 companies, and you will be part of a top ranked Institutional Investor fixed income franchise and require cross collaboration between the Investment Grade Trading and Sales desks. You will also work in US fundamental credit research team, which sits in Barclays’ New York offices and is a key component of the company’s Markets division.

    Salary / Rate Minimum: 125,000

    Salary / Rate Maximum: 170,000

    What will you be doing?

    • Interacting with investors and corporate management teams, as part of a high-profile TMT research franchise
    • Supporting the Senior Analyst’s responsibilities including financial modeling, qualitative analysis and writing research
    • Partnering with internal and external client constituents
    • Researching, analyzing, and forecasting the impact of technology as well as varying corporate strategies
    • Building and maintaining financial models
    • Monitoring market developments that may affect individual credits
    • Contributing to maintaining a positive working environment within Credit Research
    • Collaborating with sales, trading, equity research and syndicate

    What we’re looking for:

    • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, preferably in Finance, Economics, and/ or Accounting; CFA is preferred but is not required. Solid recent graduated may be considered
    • Experience in fundamental sellside or buyside credit research or other areas of credit or equity corporate analysis
    • Fantastic verbal and written communicator who enjoys collaborating with others with exemplary interpersonal skills
    • Solid financial experience including financial modeling, financial statement analysis and supporting large data sets will help you excel in this role

    Skills that will help you in the role:

    • This role requires FINRA licensing: SIE, S63, S86, S87, however, if you are not registered, we will offer sponsorship that will allow you to achieve this
    • Your analytical and problem-solving skills and a resourceful, entrepreneurial spirit will help you work effectively in our team environment
    • Demonstrated ability to multi-task in a time sensitive environment whilst maintaining a high level of attention to detail

    Where will you be working?

    You will be working at our Americas Headquarters at 745 Seventh Avenue. This 32-story office tower is located in Times Square in the heart of Manhattan and features a cafeteria, fitness center and state-of-the-art LED signage on the facade of the building.
