    As a Credit risk Intern you will participate in the development and execution of credit risk strategies for the Bank’s Consumer portfolios and support the assessment of credit risk across our lending portfolios using quantitative and qualitative techniques.

    Primary responsibilities include:

    • Source and compile leading edge industry credit analysis to determine competitive position and opportunities
    • Monitor credit risk metrics against predefined thresholds and track remediation plans for breaches to risk tolerance
    • Source and analyze credit performance, credit attributes, and risk concentrations to identify threats and opportunities
    • Support production of the Consumer Credit Risk Dashboard for the monthly Retail Risk Policy Committee (RRPC) meeting
    • Aid in the compilation and design of graphs and data tables for investor presentations and regulatory filings
    • Support various ad hoc requests across the teams

    Hours per Week: 40

    Work Schedule: M - F 8:30am - 5pm

  • Qualifications
    • 0-1 years of experience in financial industry
    • Understanding of banking and lending products
    • Knowledge of compliance and implications of regulatory frameworks as well as U.S. and accounting standards preferred
    • Knowledge of relational databases and ability to effectively utilize statistical software – SAS, Stata, and R – is preferred
    • Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint)
    • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, or other relevant degree
    • Expected graduation date of May 2020 preferred
    • Minimum GPA 3.0 (3.5 preferred)
