CreditOne UI/UX Design Lead
As a Barclays CreditOne UI/UX Design Lead, you’ll work within Credit Trading and report into the Global Head of Credit Electronic Strategy. This is an opportunity to be responsible to design the application architecture, workflows, user interactions and visual designs for trading systems, sales systems, and external client-facing systems within the Global Institutional Credit division at Barclays. Using your expertise in the practice of UI/UX, you’ll be an influential voice and strategic partner in the growth of this discipline at Barclays.
Salary / Rate Minimum: $140,000
Salary / Rate Maximum: $180,000

What will you be doing?
Owning and implementing the UI/UX of a product, from ideation through to launch
Developing high-level concepts, user flows, high fidelity designs (Figma), and clickable prototypes
Building use cases, workflow, interactions and specification documents, as well as helping to establish and document design patterns
Creating wireframes and graphical assets for development team
Collaborating with the team, facilitating brainstorming and sketching exercises for ideation
Delivering final design visuals and assets (Figma)
Using prototyping tools (Figma) to fine-tune interactions and transitions
Presenting and defending design work to stakeholders and cross-disciplined teams
What we’re looking for:
Four-year College Degree as well as four or more years working in Institutional Finance, Wealth Management or Fintech, preferably within Trading, is required
Substantial experience designing transactional products (i.e., e-commerce, banking, etc.) or applications using Figma
Understanding of and extensive experience using HTML and CSS
An online portfolio or samples of recent work (i.e., mockups, prototypes, specifications, guidelines)
Skills that will help you in the role:
Ability to define key success metrics for projects, incorporating measurable business goals, revenue optimization, and client experience best practices
HCI or design-related degree preferred, but not required; Agency experience as a User Experience Lead or Design Lead is a plus as well
Passionate and enthusiastic about developing and evolving creative ideas, while also extremely detail-oriented, able to define ideas down to a specification level
Experience working with the Agile methodology a plus, as well as the ability to establish new processes to maximize organizational efficiency
