    CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE - FRAUD

    Wilmington, DE

    As a Barclays Customer Service Representative in our Fraud Operations team, you’ll help to protect each card customers identify and prevent fraudulent activity on accounts. You will be responsible for reviewing customer accounts that demonstrate potentially suspicious activity from a variety of reporting generated transactional alerts. You will partner with other operational departments to ensure the best service is provided to our customers. We're driving change to be the digital leader in the market, which means our various customer services teams are more important than ever. As our Customer Service roles come with training and development tailored to your needs, previous experience in fraud detections is not essential.

    What will you be doing?

    • Reviewing customer accounts to determine the potential for fraudulent activity

    • Responsible for reviewing customer credit applications to determine applicant and data validity

    • Receiving inbound customer calls, servicing their needs effectively and efficiently

    • Placing outbound calls to customers as a source of comparison to account indicators

    • Completing audit documentation

    • Escalating accounts to supervisory team as necessary

    What we’re looking for:

    • 1 years’ customer service or call center experience

    • Verbal and written communications skills

    • Determined and customer-focused with a positive and professional attitude

    Skills that will help you in the role:

    • Understanding of the importance of accuracy and responsiveness

    • Proficient PC and internet skills with excellent organization and work prioritization skills

    • Knowledge in Banking or credit card experiences

    • Passion for continuous learning, development and upskilling.

    • Prior fraud experience is not required, you will be provided with training tailored to your needs
