CYBER SECURITY ENGAGEMENT MANAGER
As a Barclays Senior Cyber Security Manager, you will be responsible for stakeholder management, information gathering, analysis and dissemination with close engagement with business areas. You will drive robust Information and Cyber Security practices through provision of a comprehensive “first line of defense” service to the business across the Barclays CIB entity.

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?
Leading the provision of Information and Cyber Security SME advice and guidance to key stakeholders across Barclays CIB
Providing coaching and cross-training to Information and Cyber Security colleagues in order to increase the skills maturity of the function as a whole
Leading the reporting of the status of our risk exposure and control maturity against relevant Cyber and Information Security Policies and Standards
Leading investigations, incidents and exceptions to address Information and Cyber Security matters
Supporting the design and implementation of an information and cyber security controls and change initiatives across the Barclays CIB entity
Creating an environment and culture that promotes excellence and a continuous improvement approach
Continuously developing information and cyber security SME capability in line with needs and expectations
Managing security controls exceptions and ensuring incidents are tracked and managed to closure
WHAT WE’ RE LOOKING FOR:
Significant experience in working within the information and cyber security field, including IT audit, security management and/or security consulting
Excellent written and verbal communications skills for both technical and non-technical audiences
Experience in risk management, ability to identify, understand and mitigate risks, drawing on technical experience, risk assessment principles and management data / metrics
Experience in building networks and managing multiple senior stakeholders within a complex matrix environment across multiple geographies
SKILLS THAT WILL HELP YOU IN THE ROLE:
Information security qualifications such as CISSP, CISA, CISM or equivalent
Understanding of relevant information risk and control frameworks including NIST, ISO27001
General understanding of relevant regulatory environments impacting information security across the financial services industry
Experience working in information security / cyber risk within Financial Services, ideally with a corporate and /or investment banking background
