Design and Content Manager

As a Barclays Design and Content Manager, you will create websites using Content Management System (CMS). You will own and manage requirement related aspects of the content management delivery life cycle from inception, design discussions through to implementation and post implementation support. What will you be doing?

• Using components from an asset library to design and build sites compliant with Barclays’ Brand guidelines

• Creating and editing imagery using Photoshop and Illustrator and mocking up layouts using design tools such as Sketch, Adobe XD or Photoshop

• Structuring sites logically to create easy user journeys; content loading and scheduling reminders for colleages to complete tasks

• Building surveys and reporting the results

• Analyzing colleagues' feedback weekly and creating monthly insight reports

• Supporting brochure design and publication

• Using remote testing tools to test the site structure

• Working closely with both the Communications & Adoption and Design teams including supporting communications activity with infographics, etc.

What we’re looking for:

• Using Content Management Systems to build websites e.g. Wordpress experience, AEM ideal

• Using pattern libraries and following brand guidelines

• Graphic design or UI design experience

• Using Photoship or other design software

Skills that will help you in the role:

• Understanding of Accessibility principles

• User research or market research experience
