    WORKFORCE CHANGE AND RESTRUCTURING CHANGE MANAGER – AVP

    As a Barclays Workforce Change and Restructuring Change Manager – AVP you will act as a point of contact to lead and deliver end-to-end on Workforce Change and Restructuring activity in the US, with advice and guidance from US ER as appropriate. You may also be required to drive and support allocated change programs outside the US, subject to demand, capacity and development opportunities. Supporting and driving the HR work stream for change programs such as restructuring and re-organizations.

    WHAT WILL YOU BE  DOING?

    • Ensuring the HR project plan supports the business implementation plan / RAID log / reporting requirements 

    • Engaging key HR stakeholders on projects, including regional counterparts and ensuring that projects are set up in the restructuring database accordingly

    • Feeding into overall project timelines, while ensuring the project team is aware of any applicable policies that may impact approach, timelines or costs

    • Discussing with the business about potential impacted employees and engage in high-level business rational with decision makers, ensuring funding and business sign off is in place 

    • Ensuring consistency with approach to key HR policies in respect of restructuring, retention, relocation and redeployment 

    • Managing and co-ordinating all data / MI in respect of change programmes, including updating and tracking programmes for Workforce Change and Restructuring

    • Train and develop relevant managers/HR in the methodologies and techniques, while building and maintaining specialist knowledge and best practices in Change Management 

    • Supporting the preparation of project communications, 1:1 collateral and other templates, including separation packages and manager talking points

    WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

    • Technical expertise across project types; restructuring and re-organisations, intra-entity transfers, outsourcing, insourcing, site closures, new legal entity set up, acquisitions and contract changes

    • Project management, change management and stakeholder management skills with experience of working in a highly matrixed organisation 

    • Understanding of current employment legislation, with experience of working in a highly matrixed organisation 

    • Ability to influence stakeholders, while having decision-making, effective listening, clarity of thought and utmost professionalism

    SKILLS THAT WILL HELP YOU IN THE ROLE:

    • Full understanding of Barclays HR Service processes

    • Exceptional understanding of reward structures and approaches

    • Awareness of Workforce Change and Restructuring change approach outside the US when supporting on local elements of global change programmes

    • Self-starter with the commitment to driving through change within the HR function
