EQUITIES DERIVATIVES MIDDLE OFFICE ANALYST
As a Barclays Equities Derivatives Middle Office Analyst, you will join our engaged team to become responsibe for providing an exceptional level of support to our global trading businesses. In your new role, you will act as a first point of contact for all front-line issues regarding life cycle management queries across the Trading desks, while also working closely with Operations to deal with other ad hoc operational issues within the business.

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?
Acting as the main contact point for life cycle management and trade related requests (amends/ process/ bespoke treatments)
Providing lifecycle and ad-hoc issue/ request management support to trading desks
Resolving reconciliation breaks in the trade capture systems for the trading desks
Working with wider operations and settlement teams to improve break and query workflow
Working with all of the different aspects relating to the front to back capture and lifecycle of Structured and Flow Derivatives trades
Communicating with the trading team in order to improve the flow of information within different teams involved in the business
Acting as the main point of contact for trade lifecycle related queries from infrastructure partners such as Trading, Sales, Operations, Product Control and Market Risk
Assisting the business with their strategic and regulatory projects
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Maths, Engineering, Physics or Economics
Experience and understanding of the complete front to back lifecycle of a various Structured & Flow Derivatives
Attention to detail towards Trades and processes
Ability to prioritise tasks, ad-hoc queries and issues based on Risk involved
SKILLS THAT WILL HELP YOU IN THE ROLE:
Self-starter towards improvement and identifying control gaps with can do positive trouble shooting attitude
Ability to build, maintain relationships with other key areas within the bank with Trading, Technology, Middle office and front office stakeholders, such as Sales and Structuring
Basic programming skills or experience with Macro’s and VBA knowledge
Organized individual with good time management skills and ability to meet deadlines
