    As a Barclays Executive Assistant, you’ll provide full secretarial support in Investment Banking, schedule/coordinate meetings & events, help maintain busy appointment calendars, and arrange and coordinate travel schedules & reservations. This is an exciting opportunity to be answering, screening, routing telephone calls, responding to inquiries from internal & external clients, and liaising with senior level individuals throughout the firm.

    Salary / Rate Minimum: $75,000
    Salary / Rate Maximum: $101,000

    What will you be doing?

    • Providing a high level of administrative assistance to investment banking teams
    • Carrying out duties including facilities management, security, building access, parking passes, local vendors
    • Assisting with office onboarding/orientation to new hires and business continuity
    • Scheduling and coordinating meetings/events while maintaining busy appointment calendars
    • Answering, screening, and routing telephone calls while responding to inquiries from internal and external clients
    • Preparing and tracking T&E expenses, as well as arranging and coordinating travel schedules and reservations, including flights, hotels, ground transportation, etc
    • Leading as back up for other assistants in the office and handling special projects as they arise
    • Handling correspondence, including drafting replies and composing letters and memos

    What we’re looking for:

    • Two to four years, or more, of administrative experience in investment banking industry preferred
    • Experience working with senior level executives in a corporate setting
    • Availability to work from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and available to provide assistance on off-hours as needed
    • Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Word for Windows, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook essential

    Where will you be working?

    You will be working at our Americas Headquarters at 745 Seventh Avenue. This 32-story office tower is located in Times Square in the heart of Manhattan and features a cafeteria, fitness center and state-of-the-art LED signage on the facade of the building.
