FINANCE BUSINESS PARTNER ANALYSIS- ASSISTANT VICE PRESIDENT (AVP)

As a Barclays Finance Business Partner Analysis AVP, you will manage the financial analysis for several key partners in our Travel and Affinity Segments. You will support the Business Management team providing financial knowledge and insights to drive the most effective strategy, maximizing growth and returns to exceed the goals of the company.  Your role has high visibility within the Finance and the Business Segment Management teams providing exposure and interaction with Leaders and organizations across the Bank.

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?

• Understanding financial results and P&L drivers, metrics and trends to build accurate partner/segment forecasts 

• Analyzing and forecasting of partnership performance to identify opportunities and risks for the business

• Preparing and effectively communicate results and insights to Senior Management

• Building scenarios and sensitivities around new products as and when required

• Producing Quarterly Forecasts and ongoing to guide the business 

• Completing contractual required analyses like Profit Share calculations for specific partners

• Working along with the Finance Corporate Planning team for weekly O&R updates to corporate level forecasts 

• Supporting short-term and long-term initiatives (tracking, validation, analytics)

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

• Five plus years of experience in Credit Card or Financial Industry. Bachelor's degree minimum. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills are critical

SKILLS THAT WILL HELP YOU IN THE ROLE:

Degree in Finance or Quantitative disciplines preferred  Master’s degree/MBA preferred Essbase, Hyperion Planning, SAS, SQL experience a plus  Excellent leadership, interpersonal, multi-tasking, teamwork and communication skills are critical
