GLOBAL LOANS TECHNOLOGY SUPPORT TEAM

As a Barclays Global Loans Technology Support Team (GTSM), you will become a member of a new L2 Run the Bank team in the US for the Wholesale Lending Transaction Lifecycle.  This is an individual contributor role where you will be responsible for production support activities of all the applications in the WSL RTB bucket.

WHAT WILL YOU  BE DOING?

•     Working closely with Business, Development, Compliance, and supporting Vendors to facilitate the successful delivery of Change to the Production environment

•     Working to minimize unplanned impact to the business day to day operating procedures

•     Working within the Key Performance Indicators and Key Risk Indicators as per organization standards 

•     Representing Technology in front of the business and take ownership of issues through to resolution or escalation, as appropriate

•     Following the business operating procedures and daily processing life cycle, providing advice & guidance and communication to the business on operational matters

•     Providing workarounds and pragmatic solutions to issues facing the business in a real time fashion, to minimize client visible impact

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

•     Be ITIL certified 

•     Able to demonstrate practical application of the ITIL principles into an Application

•     Management function at a financial institution

•     Knowledge of technology including Linux, Windows, SQL Server

SKILLS THAT WILL HELP YOU IN THE ROLE:

•     Knowledge of IBM CL, Lansa, RPG, AS 400.

•     Knowledge of java, html, MQ, autosys, Tomcat

•     Working knowledge of ACBS or Loan IQ

•     Working knowledge of AppDynamics, Splunk, and ELK
