IAM SENIOR JAVA DEVELOPER

As a Barclays  IAM Senior Java Developer you will engage in a range of activities around multiple critical controls, including Request and Onecert toolsets managed by the Identity and Access Management Team. You will work in a Java 8 environment and be directly involved in development activities on listed technologies, realizing requirements to deliver technical and functional artifacts. This position will ensure that all activities are carried out in full compliance with regulatory requirements.

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?

• Collaborating closely with the offshore team to design, develop, and support IDM solutions for the IDM Group

• Engaging in technical discussions regarding design and implementation approach for IDM Toolsets as part of its ongoing provisioning Initiatives end to end

• Identifying and reporting issues, gaps, and areas of improvement to optimize the roll out of the IDM Solution

• Realizing the functionality of high level business requirements supplied by Business Analyst team to deliver thorough and robust IDM functionality with the company’s toolsets

• Working with the Enterprise Wide Risk Management Framework and internal Barclays Policies and Policy Standards

• Working with in-depth experiences with the listed technologies

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

• Extensive experience with Java 8, Spring boot, and Spring framework

• Solid experience with BPM, Kafka, Spark, Apache Ignite, and ELK Stack

• Working knowledge of Angular/React/Java Script Framework

• Proven collaborative leadership skills

SKILLS THAT WILL HELP YOU IN THE ROLE:  

• Substantial experience with ORM/JDBC Concept (Oracle)

• Solid problem-solving skills, ability to address new situations and efficiently handle any incidents that may arise

• Time management and organizational skills 

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
