    IVR CLOUD DEVELOPER

    As a Barclays IVR Cloud Developer, you will contribute to Contact Center Transformation Journey that is cloud native, scalable and massive in nature. Through this journey we need the expertise of a senior Developer with a solid background and expertise of existing IVR technologies, and working knowledge of Amazon Connect world and help navigate the Barclays journey through this space. The role includes understanding and keeping pace with the global framework being defined and extending that to the USCB Contact Center space.

    WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?

    •     Creating technical design recommendations for the development and integration of new software and system technologies from the physical layer through to the virtual layer

    •     Analyzing, designing, building and testing cloud based solutions

    •     Providing accurate estimates for the technical changes and make sure the timelines are achieved  

    •     Working with the BA’s, VUI Designers and other component teams closely 

    •     Helping the testing teams during the Test Planning phase and assist with the test cases preparation

    •     Working in an Agile/Scrum development methodology to drive key aspects of product definition, execution and test

    •     Making sound commercial judgment and overall understanding of the Financial Services Industry, particularly the business impact of the regulatory environment.

    WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

    •     Bachelor's Degree or higher in Computer Science / Engineering

    •     Understanding of effective processes for improvement of operations and functionality of voice user interface applications. 

    •     Experience with Contact Centers

    •     Analytical skills in problem solving and troubleshooting

    SKILLS THAT WILL HELP YOU IN THE ROLE:

    •     Dev/Ops Experience including Openshift, Jenkins, Maven and Gradle

    •     Hands-on experience integrating with AI services for Natural Language Processing
