KYC ANALYST

As the KYC Analyst, you will be doing the Implementation of KYC and Customer Due Diligence through CIP allows the bank to assess risk. A matter of safety and soundness in complying with regulations and protection from reputational risks.

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?

• You will identify and correct Know Your Customer (KYC) data issues on applications prior to account origination.

• You will research and remediate Customer Identity issues using Public Identity tools, strong judgment, and adherence to operational policy. 

• You will liaise with AML Management and Financial Crimes on specific requirements and regulations arising under special circumstances

• You will review and ensure all required AML/KYC Regulatory requirements for new customers are in place.

• You will conduct KYC refresh reviews on a periodic basis in order to ensure the data maintained is accurate. 

• You will review internal referrals for inaccurate or missing KYC information

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

• High school diploma, GED, Equivalent certification or military experience 

• At least 2 years’ experience in the banking or financial services industry

• 3 or more years’ experience in Credit Cards, Risk & Control, Compliance, Bank Secrecy Act, Anti-Money Laundering or Lending

SKILLS THAT WILL HELP YOU IN THE ROLE:

• Bachelor’s Degree- Preferably in Business, Management, Finance, Criminal Justice, Fraud Prevention, or Homeland Security

• Ability to multi-task and work under pressure

• Ability to work independently under minimal supervision

• Attention to detail, understands importance of accuracy and responsiveness
