    As Barclays Markets Pre Trade Executive Assistant, you will provide secretarial and administrative support to the Head of the function at the MD level. You will also assist other senior D’s and MD’s as a secondary priority. This is an opportunity for you to work with other EAs within the Markets Technology business on as-required basis to ensure activities are covered and completed effectively. This is a great chance for a pro-active, experienced assistant who enjoys a busy and varied role with responsibility.

    Salary / Rate Minimum: $85000

    Salary / Rate Maximum: $110000

    What will you be doing?

    • Managing calendar conflicts according to stated priorities and work collaboratively to find mutually agreeable times when reschedules are required

    • Extensive organization of internal and external meetings, booking appointments, meeting rooms/hospitability/VC facilities/webcasting

    • Ensuring all documentation / briefing materials are provided ahead of meetings and travel in a timely manner

    • Booking travel and arranging all logistics in association with travel, arranging visa’s where necessary ensuring the T&E policy guidelines are followed

    • Processing of all expenses both credit card and cash receipts within the T&E policy. Act as a subject matter expert for policies and procedures

    • Taking on any other ad hoc duties as required e.g., populating templates, creating lists of upcoming meetings for a specific stakeholder, photocopying

    • Assisting with various IT-related tasks and ad hoc projects within the team

    • Maintaining organizational charts, trackers, photos, and executive biographies

    • Excellent telephone and email etiquette with an ability to manage competing priorities

    • Team player with willingness to help

    • Ability to work independently and proactively drive activities to ensure successful task completion

    Skills that will help you in the role:

    • Experience assisting senior staff in a highly confidential/discretionary environment

    • Established administrative assistant in a corporate setting with planning and organization skills

    • Ability to multi-task when demands arise in a fast paced, demanding environment

    • Highly professional, collaborative manner, excellent attention to detail and ability to work to tight deadlines when under pressure

    Where will you be working?

    You will be working at our Americas Headquarters at 745 Seventh Avenue. This 32-story office tower is located in Times Square in the heart of Manhattan and features a cafeteria, fitness center and state-of-the-art LED signage on the facade of the building.
