.NET DEVELOPER - REFERENCE DATA

As a Barclays .NET Developer, you will be responsible for Post Trade to provide Technology and Operational services to the Investment Bank (Markets) for Trade Capture and Operations processing across all products, as well as reporting externally to regulators.  You will be involved in projects focusing on server-side development (MS SQL, C#, Micro services, windows services, Workflow Engine, MongoDB, Elastic Search), and web development (ASP.NET CORE, Typescripts, and REACT.

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?

•     Understanding the overall system design contributing to the system architecture

•     Identifying and implementing major improvements to existing procedures and team processes to enhance efficiency

•     Writing well structured, high quality and performing code

•     Providing accurate estimates for assigned work 

•     Identifying and escalates issues and risks in a timely manner to the development/project manager so that project risk can be mitigated with minimal impact

•     Working closely with team members in London, New York, and Pune (India) - participating in and contributing to technical discussions

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

•     Solid MSSQL T-SQL skills

•     Solid knowledge of .NET, .NET Core and C# 

•     Good knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming, exposure to design patterns

SKILLS THAT WILL HELP YOU IN THE ROLE:

•     Basic Knowledge of Elastic Search, MongoDB, Kafka

•     Knowledge of source control tools, full knowledge of the software development life cycle 

•     Solid written and verbal English language communication skills
