OPERATIONS ANALYST – INVESTMENT BANKING (MARKETS POST TRADE)

As a Barclays Operations Analyst in Markets Post Trade, you will be aligned to one of the following business areas within our Investment Banking Operations: Middle Office, Prime Brokerage, Margin & Valuation, US Securities Settlement, Regulatory Adherence, Market Operations as well as other specialized business areas. WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING:

•     Analyst provides first-line of defense control, ensuring that the data flowing through the Barclays Investment Banking infrastructure is successful (Middle Office)

•     Assisting with the onboarding of new clients, providing timely and seamless solutions, ensuring clients benefit from your support, expertise, and management (Prime Brokerage)

•     Providing support to the Barclays collateral and Valuation functions during a time of unprecedented regulatory change (Margin and Valuation)

•     Assist with securities settlement, exception and fails management, as well as serving as process SME and an escalation point for our Clients (US Securities Settlement)

•     Supporting Group regulatory reporting requirements, maintaining understanding of regulatory and market developments impacting Regulations (Regulatory Adherence)

•     Supporting data driven control governance, consistency and the appropriate set up of controls across Global Market Operations (Market Operations)

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

•     Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, or related field

•     1 year experience in Investment Banking Operations with the ability to think tactically and strategically to improve and enhance current processes

•     Solid organization skills with the ability to multitask, along with excellent written and verbal communication skills and competency in Microsoft Office suite
