PRIME DERIVATIVE SERVICES – FUTURES EXECUTION

As a part of the Barclays Prime Derivative Services, Futures Execution team, you’ll have the opportunity to manage the execution of orders and the management of risk and P&L inherent in trading client Futures orders. This is an exciting chance to join a growing Listed Derivatives execution team and perform High Touch execution on behalf of Prime Services clients.  You’ll also assist with P&L reporting, break resolution, work with the Product Development team, and with client services in relation to specific client requests.

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?

• Developing and maintaining new and existing Prime Services relationships, with a focus on Listed Derivatives execution and clearingWorking across different product groups within the Firm to cross-sell and leverage relationships

• Maintaining a strong focus on growing revenues

• Utilizing your wide range of product knowledge to help drive through leadership in the evolving Futures Execution industry

• Interacting with multiple Prime Services clients on a daily basis and reporting to the US Head of Futures Execution within Prime Services Americas.

WHAT WE’ RE LOOKING FOR:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, and/or Business Administration and Series 3, 7 and 63

• Global Macro knowledge and product understanding

• Strong interpersonal skills with clients, during office visits and relationship building activities

• Attention to detail to minimize execution and order risks, strong work ethic, and an approach that values teamwork

SKILLS THAT WILL HELP YOU IN THE ROLE:

• Experience executing Listed Derivatives (all asset classes, including options)

• Experience in managing customer order flow within a Sales and Trading capacity

• Understanding of market trends and the ability to express views with listed option trade ideas and write and distribute proprietary market content to clients, including calendar roll reports

• Experience in and ability to work with the clearing and client service teams to solve client trade issues expeditiously while creating efficiencies in daily desk operations
