Consumer Lending& Innovation is a key growth organization within the bank where we focus on managing lending products, building and launching next generation products for our customers (ApplePay, Ultimate Card) and partnering with key industry players and FinTech companies.

The role is to support leadership in helping develop new product prototypes by integrating with software developed by internal and external organizations so we can showcase new customer experiences to senior management. The role will align with market opportunities through analyzing products, markets, and client needs.

We are looking for someone with an entrepreneurial mind-set: creative, resourceful, and adaptable who can build and enthusiastically champion support for projects and ideas.

Duties:

• Initiative development: Work with consumer lending and innovation organization the focus will be on developing prototypes by working with the team from ideation and brainstorming of new opportunities to designing and building highly responsive front and backend capabilities by integrating with 3rd party vendors APIs.
• Consulting: Consult with internal staff and external subject matter experts in areas such as customer experience, product design and implementation to bring new prototypes to market quickly.
• Analytics: Utilize available internal and external data to develop relevant analytics to support new and existing program initiatives. Propose new enabling technologies that will generate greater insight into customer experience.

• Must have an expected graduation date between December 2018 – June 2019.
• Must have an overall cumulative GPA of 3.00 or above.
• Must be available to work full-time, 40 hours per week, for the duration of the program.

Position Qualifications:

• Computer Science or MBA graduate with software development skills
• Experience with REST API development
• Develop front ends in HTML5 and other web tech that’s highly responsive and visually exciting
• Program backend API services that interface with third-party APIs
• Always looking for new ways to innovate in every aspect of development
• Receptive to mentoring, turns feedback into immediate action. Self-motivated to improve personally and as a team
• Creative Skills: The ability to think out of the box and analyze when approaching innovation management activities(strategic & creative thinking) and passion for understanding consumer behavior
• Active Collaboration: Ability to work with all levels of the organization and resourcefulness to improvise and adapt via creative problem solving
• Communication Skills: Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills are required. The incumbent will present to diverse audiences, work cross-functionally for results and collaborate with external partners
