REAL RESPONSIBILITY, RIGHT AWAY

As a summer analyst, you will spend the summer with our Public Finance banking team, working with dedicated and experienced colleagues to provide comprehensive investment banking solutions for clients.  You will become a member of a specific coverage group, working on real assignments and making a tangible impact on our business.  

You may:

• assist in structuring complex strategic financing transactions for clients, as well as the development of the documentation embodying that structure

• manage transaction teams and coordinate working groups across functional areas

• construct cash flow models to devise tailored financing structures that meet client objectives

• perform detailed credit analyses to evaluate the potential implications for credit ratings of clients and transactions

• work closely with colleagues to manage the coordination of internal and external processes related to a financing with capital markets participants, including rating agencies, bond insurers and investors

• assist in the preparation marketing materials, from product pitches to offering memoranda to extensive responses and proposal requests

• research and analyze market data to share insights with clients

TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS PROGRAM, YOU MUST:

• be an undergraduate student with an anticipated graduation date between December 2023 - June 2024.

IDEALLY, YOU WOULD ALSO HAVE:

• an undergraduate GPA of 3.2 or above

• high degree of personal integrity and a strong academic track record

• a strong interest in business and finance, though no specific major is required

• desire to learn and contribute in a highly collaborative, fast-paced environment

• strong written and oral communication skills
