What will you be doing?

Barclays Services Corp. seeks Quantitative Analyst in New York, NY (multiple positions available):

• Work with team members and stakeholders within QA, the QA BI and Retail AVP
• Engage in project design, predictive model development, strategy development, creation of production code and implementation of models
• Model development across the model life cycle including acquisitions, existing customer management, regulatory and collections models
• Ensure that the latest methodologies and constraints are incorporated in the acquisition, capital and impairment plans
• Provide efficient documentation around the process to ensure smooth audit
• Produce comprehensive documentation to ensure the models can be replicated and to indicate how the models adhere to internal, external and regulatory requirements
• Perform deep dive analysis to evaluate portfolio quality and trends
• Use banking knowledge to manage risks and identify opportunities through analysis
• Understand the underlying regulatory capital requirements and the primary drivers of the capital adequacy of the bank, risk management strategies and collection strategies
• Obtain buy-in from the internal governance, validation, model owner and business partner
• Develop optimization frameworks, acquisition models, response models, existing customer management and behavioral models
• May telecommute

What we’re looking for:

• Employer will accept a Master's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or related field
• Two (2) years of experience in the job offered or in a quantitative analyst-related occupation

Where will you be working?

You will be working at our New York, New York location at 745 Seventh Avenue. This 37-story office tower is located in Times Square in the heart of Manhattan and features a cafeteria, fitness center and state-of-the-art LED signage on the façade of the building.
