    As a Barclays Resource Management Group (RMG) Trader, you will have an exciting opportunity to support various activities in RMG – Funding, RWA and LBS optimisations for Cash Equities and Equity Derivatives. In addition to supporting existing processes, this role would also have a focus on optimization of capital footprint across entities as portfolios are migrated for regulatory/efficiency reasons, while helping the firm navigate through a period of rapid regulatory change in terms of Basel 3 Endgame (Basel 4) over the next few years.

    Salary / Rate Minimum: $155,000
    Salary / Rate Maximum: $250,000

    What will you be doing?

    • Managing RMG US Funding book and working with PCG to ensure monthly economic funding report is submitted and any breaches are addressed quickly
    • Assisting desk to optimize US exchange margin and working with desk to provide business input into funding related exercises (Planning, Stress testing, etc.) with Treasury
    • Owning month end CLR and funding cost allocation processes
    • Helping in managing US IHC and Consolidated RWA and balance sheet with Cash Equities & Equity Derivatives business
    • Analyzing and highlighting any issues in results produced by FRTB calculations as well as preparing and presenting FRTB packs to educate trading desks
    • Working with risk/reg teams to create what-if functionality for FRTB metrics
    • Building relationships with Equities Trading, Ops, PCG, Reg and Treasury

    What we’re looking for:

    • Bachelor’s or higher-level education, with excellent academic background and broad knowledge of financial derivatives products
    • Numerate and highly analytical with Excel, VBA, or Python skills
    • Team player with excellent communication skills, who can build relationships with an established group, and is adaptable and keen to learn
    • “Self- Starter” – must be able to take the initiative and run with it instead of waiting for someone to lead and show the way

    Skills that will help you in the role:

    • Expertise in equity derivatives products (equity shares, futures, options, swaps) and IR swaps
    • Knowledge of FRTB rules
    • Series 7, 63, 57

    You will be working at our Americas Headquarters at 745 Seventh Avenue. This 32-story office tower is located in Times Square in the heart of Manhattan and features a cafeteria, fitness center and state-of-the-art LED signage on the facade of the building.
