As a Barclays Resource Management Group (RMG) Trader you’ll have the opportunity to be the primary contact for Equities traders for any funding related matters, with a particular focus on unsecured funding, including haircut on securities, less liquid assets, loans, and margin (initial, variation, and clearing). This is an exciting chance to execute and book funding trades with Treasury, COU, and Equities Trading desks. This role will eventually extend to RWA and LBS resource management as well.

Salary / Rate Minimum: $125,000
Salary / Rate Maximum: $170,000

What will you be doing?

• Leading and managing RMG US Funding book actively
• Helping the desk to optimize US exchange margin
• Completing and submitting any funding related asks (MTP IST, etc) from Treasury
• Owning month end CLR and funding cost allocation processes confidently
• Working with PCG to ensure monthly economic funding report is submitted and any breaches are addressed quickly
• Building relationships with Equities Trading, Ops, PCG, and Treasury

What we’re looking for:

• Bachelors or higher-level education, with excellent academic background
• Excellent Excel, VBA, or Python skills
• Team player who can integrate with an established group, and is adaptable and keen to learn
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build relationships

Skills that will help you in the role:

• Knowledge of equity derivatives products (equity shares, futures, options, swaps) and IR swaps
• Expertise in Series 7, 63, 57
