    As a Barclays RTB Application Support Lead, you will play the role of Level 2 Application Support Lead, Fraud services within CBP Ops and Tech Shared Services organization and you will be directly accountable and responsible for managing fraud applications within US Consumer Bank. In this role, you will own both service level management as well as support for assigned services within their domain. This is an opportunity to lead a team of technical staff to manage and address technical issues and will be responsible for all aspects of support.

    What will you be doing?

    • Driving complex and major incidents to resolution and will be responsible for all aspects of support
    • Conducting Technical Internal PIR to feed into the global PIR (Ppost Incident Review process)
    • Owning the problem management function and working on to reduce the open problem estate by implementing fixes, collaborating with component teams
    • Partnering with PSM (Production Service Manager) for End-to-End Service Management comprising of Technology Audits, Resilience Management, Configuration management
    • Gaining a holistic view of the projects impacting the front-to-back business process
    • Attending Design Authority Meetings and enforcing minimum acceptance & key readiness criteria on all project changes (new features & enhancements)
    • Validating and approving support model, CMDB(Configuration Management Database) SLAs, OLAs(Operational Level Agreement) and NFRs(Non-functional Requirement)
    • Reviewing functional requirements, HLD,(high level design) SDR ( solution document reference)and provide support point of view

    What we’re looking for:

    • Demonstrated experience on presenting technical topics and needs to senior stakeholders, leading large technical programs in an information technology
    • Experience and detailed understanding of root cause analysis using industry standard monitoring, logging tools such as AppDynamics, CA Wily, Aternity
    • Progressive leadership experience managing technical engineering or technical support, including people management experience
    • Experience in a development coding role or an infrastructure delivery position focused on distributed systems

    Skills that will help you in the role:

    • Knowledge of Open Systems such as (Linux/Unix, Windows)
    • Familiarity with Alerting & Monitoring tools like AppD, ELK, Netcool, Kibana
    • Knowledge of Application Hosting Platforms such as Websphere, JBoss, Apache, Tomcat
    • Familiarity with Network Technologies such as Load Balancers & Firewalls
