What You Can Expect

Our Consumer and Community Banking (CCB) Risk Management Program is a 10-week internship that will provide you with invaluable work experience within one of our CCB Risk lines of business. Work alongside our top-tier professionals, shaping our product strategy and supporting models that manage our financial reputation and regulatory performance. You'll also help mitigate and manage risk — building critical capabilities that allow the firm to manage any kind of market.

Your work will influence one of our Chase business units – Auto, Business Banking, Card, Chase Wealth Management, Consumer Banking, Digital, Marketing & Communications, Merchant Services, Mortgage Banking, Oversight and Controls, Operations and Strategy.

Projects within CCB may include analyzing data to support risk/reward business decisions, assessing and forecasting profit and loss, and analyzing performance metrics. In addition, you will gain knowledge of our credit risk management, controls, and infrastructure, and help provide effective risk management improvements.

Our training curriculum will enhance your business knowledge and professional and technical skills. Frequent manager feedback, coaching, peer mentoring and opportunities to build your network will round out your internship experience. You may receive an offer of full-time employment upon successful completion of the program.

Key Qualifications:

• Minimum GPA of 3.2
• Pursuing a BA, or BS degree with expected graduation of December 2018 or May 2019.
• Coursework in Actuarial Science, Economics, Engineering, Finance, Mathematics, Operations Research, Statistics, or Physics a plus
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Excel and Word proficiency
• Exceptional quantitative and analytical skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
• Candidates must be authorized to work permanently in the U.S.
