Senior UI Designer

As a Barclays Senior UI Designer, you will embark on an exciting initiative to build products that deliver exceptional user experiences. You will be responsible for creating visually stunning and user-friendly interfaces for web applications. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, turning concepts into reality and ensuring a seamless and efficient user experience.

What will you be doing?

• Leading the end-to-end UI design process, from conceptualization to implementation
• Collaborating closely with developers and business stakeholders to ensure a cohesive and effective design implementation
• Participating in brainstorming sessions and contribute creative ideas to enhance user interfaces
• Identifying opportunities to streamline processes and enhance operational efficiency within the technology teams
• Working with cross functional teams to improve workflows, project management, and resource allocation
• Developing interactive prototypes to showcase design concepts and validate usability
• Iterating on designs based on user feedback and testing results
• Staying informed about the latest design trends, tools, and technologies

What we’re looking for:

• Bachelors or Master’s degree in Graphic Design
• Significant years of hands-on experience in UI design
• Proficient in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD, or similar
• Excellent portfolio showcasing a range of UI design projects

Skills that will help you in the role:

• Experience working in Compliance or Risk and Controls area in the Finance Industry
