SERVICE OPERATIONS MANAGER
As a Barclays Service Operations Manager, you will be supporting Products Domain Applications (Payments, Rewards, Loans etc.). Providing the technical expertise for assigned services within the domain and responsible for all aspects of support as per ITIL best practices, with high focus on service stability, efficiency gain and SLAs. You will be working with SRE capabilities and ensuring the service is supported with best practices, drive the change needed to improve the existing processes.

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?
Providing L2 technical support for applications designed to run in aPaaS / AWS infrastructure and Batch applications running on VM servers
Taking bottom line responsibilities of all incidents (User reported, application or batch failures etc.)
Participating and driving complex and major incidents to resolution, root cause identification and Producing Technical Incident Post Mortem (TIPM) report
Identifying the repeat incidents / alerts / batch failures and raising pro-active problem tickets
Owning the problem management function and work on to reduce the open incidents / problems by implementing fixes, working closely with L3/BTB teams
Reviewing functional requirements, HLD, runbooks and provide RtB point of view by working closely with the project teams
Ensuring systems are built resilience-ready and working with project build team to complete the mandatory resilience testing for each component
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
Solid domain knowledge in banking or financial sector, especially within Cards & Payments Technology
Sound knowledge of and experience in Agile delivery
Previous work experience in resilient and real-time enterprise platforms
Hands-on experience to cloud based technology platform and supporting the application in Hybrid / AWS cloud
