As a Barclays Snowflake Developer and Reg Reporting, you will function as a US member in the Data warehouse space for the Data Quality, Control & Regulatory Program. This is an exciting opportunity to be accountable for designing and delivering regulatory reports like Bluesheets, which are sent to external regulators along with ACT and other surveillance reports.

What will you be doing?

• Ensuring that the technical architecture of the solution is in line with the overall architecture strategy and is dynamic enough to scale to cover
• Comprehending Market Risk, Compliance, and Trade Surveillance & Regulatory Data and through exposure of immerging technologies like Snowflake for data extraction
• Ensuring the Bluesheets requirements and catered to in the CAT (Consolidated Audit Trail) Reporting
• Providing Technical guidance to the team on the New Technologies (Hadoop/Impala) being used
• Playing a lead role in Design and develop and implement effective and efficient solution for end to end data flow and reporting suit for CAT/Bluesheet and surveillance report
• Developing and execute In Premises/Cloud supported surveillance models for regulatory reporting and critical data analysis
• Implementing new EOD Reporting regulations in Europe, Americas and / or Asia Pacific, dependent on demand

What we’re looking for:

• A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related
• Extensive hands-on experience on Snowflake, DWH, SQL and Unix
• Expertise in developing applications using BI and Data warehouse technologies
• Experience of working in a fast-paced and agile environment

Skills that will help you in the role:

• Broad knowledge of investment banking, and the industry sector
• Expertise of front to back finance and operational process flows
• Solid grasp of Cloud Technology and Snowflake in particular
• Knowledge of Agile SDLC concepts and of Scrum/Kanban Agile SDLC methodology
