As a Barclays Software Engineer - Full Stack, you will be responsible with client facing the frontend UI developer with experience in Angular, Java Script, HTML , CSS and Node JS along with hands on experience in integrating Analytic tools (Tableau). You will be working on UI page and visualization design , development and deployment and also integration of visualization nuggets from BI tools like Tableau/Qlik to web pages. This position requires a sound experience and hand on understanding of data warehousing and Business Intelligence (BI).

What will you be doing?

• Building client-facing UI and back-end services using UI technology
• Being responsible for the integration of Analytic dashboards/objects to front-end using Angular Js, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap
• Working on DevOps principle, version control, CI /CD, Veracode , JIRA and best engineering practice
• Driving development from a sketch to a polished product
• Monitoring and improving the front -end performance and also conducting code, test and operate integration
• Working as part of a team developing applications and services using Agile development methods
• Designing and implementing of low-latency, high-availability, and performant applications

What we’re looking for:

• Several years of IT experience and solid knowledge in HTML5, CSS3, Angular JS, JavaScript, Node JS (from scratch + libraries)
• Build cross-browser compatible responsive web pages that can be viewed across different screen layouts
• Hands-on experience on integrating Analytics dashboards from Tableau, Qlik etc. with open APIs knowledge base and configuration
• Hands on experience in developing Custom Controls and functionalities based on business requirements

Skills that will help you in the role:

• Experience with agile development methodologies leveraging DevOps best practices will be added advantage
• Energetic and motivated, willing to take on tasks, work and take on time pressure
• Working knowledge of Datawarehouse concepts and MS SQL server
• Broad knowledge of BI tools like Tableau and Qlik is added advantage
