STRATEGY & TRANSFORMATION ANALYST
As a Barclays Strategy & Transformation Analyst you will be responsible for supporting projects across Operations & Functions. You will be assisting with Strategy and Transformation projects to drive operational efficiency. Examples include location strategy, vendor strategy, cost of service, operations digitization/automation, and control automation. You will assist with Chief of Staff office activities, such as pulling papers from across the organization for Boards, Regulators, and Senior Leadership and running required governance forums.

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?
Working on a portfolio of Special Projects that drive cost efficiency, operational efficiency, better customer service, and/or better controls
Managing projects day-to-day
Developing key stakeholder relationships (including cross-functional)
Facilitating with various project managers and key stakeholders to support engagement and escalation process; include risks and issues where dependencies have been identified
Developing knowledge and understanding of portfolio/project risks and dependencies to be able to assess the impact of issues
Acting as an assisting project management specialist in partnering with the Transaction Cycles, working to monitor the health of projects within their portfolios
Ensuring effective and efficient utilization of all data points to support and drive pace, providing insightful MI and commentary to enable Transaction Cycle/Program
Supporting people and businesses, acting with empathy and integrity, championing innovation and sustainability, for the common good and the long term
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:
Analytical and Detail Oriented mind-set as demonstrated by prior experience with operational transformation, continuous improvement, lean or 6 sigma experience
One to two years’ experience supporting transformation programmed in a regulated environment
One to two years’ experience helping improving profitability and reducing cost by optimizing operational capabilities
One/two years’ experience assisting an operational setting by interfacing with compliance, front office, tech personal to implement procedural, technical automation solutions
SKILLS THAT WILL HELP YOU IN THE ROLE:
One to two years of Credit Card, Online Banking, or Call Center industry knowledge/experience
One to two years of Financial Services or Consulting Experience
Desire to work in a fast-paced environment
