SUPPLIER MANAGER
As a Barclays Supplier Manager, you will join our team to provide high quality analysis and support to the senior team, including rigorous interpretation of supplier management information and supporting the delivery of service/supplier changes. You will be using your skills to contribute towards the development of ‘best in class’ supplier management capability. Your focus will be effective management of Supplier Relationships, applying Third Party Risk Management policy, associated risk and compliance activities.

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?
Being responsible for performing on-going supplier management and assurance activities to help the bank effectively manage the performance, cost and risk
Ensuring the relationship is optimally managed and supplier management activities are performed in line with all relevant policies and standards
Being recognised internally as a Subject Matter Expert in Supplier Relationship Development and driving the greatest value out of supplier relationships
Being accountable for the strategic alignment of Barclays and managing suppliers by establishing common goals and objectives
Managing the development of supplier relationships for Barclay’s future requirements
Supporting and contributing to team building and team dynamics through personally demonstrating ability to be a self-starter and contribution to team outputs
Mastering sufficiently the key elements of Supplier Management processes, policies and enabling tools/ systems
Managing the collation, analysis and timely reporting of data inputs to support the development and implementation of the Supplier Management strategy
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:
Previous experience in Supplier Management and fluency at explaining it to any audience at any moment
Previous experience of delivering post contract value from suppliers
Track record in improving Supplier Management in a services related organization
Proven risk management capability, communication and relationship management skills
SKILLS THAT WILL HELP YOU IN THE ROLE:
Ability to shape and deliver supplier management strategies
Leadership experience with ability to demonstrate where to manage the outcomes without direct line accountability
Experience of working with Regulators or in a regulated environment
Excellent attention to detail, with solid analytical skills
