  • Responsibilities

    WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?

    • Plan, execute and complete multiple projects/products requiring cross- functional support across all areas of the organization, including the development/review of business requirements, functional specifications, and the testing of new technology capabilities. 

    • Work across multiple phases of Agile software development life cycle within project to identify and support core competencies and key project/product features and functions.  

    • Define and execute a project / program aligned to business strategy / regulatory imperative enabling benefits to be achieved on a cross functional business basis.  

    • Ensure all aspects of project/product delivery is scoped, planned, tracked, and managed to completion.  

    • Implement Agile processes (Scrum) and procedures as a Product Owner and ensure teams are working in the scrum/sprint model effectively.  

    • Assess and manage risk, reduce barriers towards realizing goals, and ensure mitigating actions are in place. 

    • Perform status reporting and provide visibility on status against milestones and transparency of risks and issues.

    WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

    Requires minimum of a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, or closely related field and 3 years of experience in the position offered or as a Business Systems/Quality Analyst, or closely related position. Demonstrated experience must include project management and the following: 

    • Agile Scrum methodology to develop software at all levels of software development lifecycle (requirements gathering, design, testing, development, documentation, and code review);

    • Utilizing quantitative and qualitative analytical skills to define and communicate business goals, processes, requirements, and solutions to business issues across multiple line of business groups, setting up product vision and roadmap;

    • Forecasting product backlog with appropriate Epics, Features and user stories;

    • Developing Business Requirements into functional requirements and technology solutions;

    • Utilizing Project Management tools like Rally & Quality Center, to manage project requirements and Epics;

    • Defining user stories, including acceptance criteria, to ensure execution adheres to development and quality standards; 

    • Prioritizing, Planning and Execution of backlog work items by working with cross functional scrum teams;

    • Utilizing BPM tools, such as Appian BPM, to develop Workflow applications; and

    • Writing test plans and test cases.
