TECHNICAL LEAD - BANKING IT

As a Barclays Technical Lead – Banking IT, you will be involved in projects focused on and contributing into application development leveraging technologies such as, Salesforce, AWS, Openshift, Kafka, JAVA Spring Boot, Angular, LWC, APEX Enterprise Patterns, SFDX and Jenkins with a keen focus on Enterprise Architecture, DevOps and Agile, in partnership with global development teams and project stakeholders.

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?

• Overseeing the end to end development on projects leveraging Salesforce, NodeJS, Java Spring Boot and related enterprise frameworks

• Implementing and adopting Devops and Agile Methodologies to improve the SDLC across project initiatives

• Working closely with the global development and support teams across requirement analysis, estimation, tech design and review, feature

• Being proactive and engaging with the production support teams to resolve queries and issues raised by users on the applications 

• Assisting the team to create and maintain documentation and artefacts related to system architecture, technical design, infrastructure and application support

• Training and Mentoring developers in the team on architecture, design and development best practices and functional application workflows to build and retain

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

• Bachelors or Master’s Degree in Software Engineering 

• Expert in Application Development leveraging Salesforce 

• Experience in working with Devops tools and Agile methodologies with globally distributed development

SKILLS THAT WILL HELP YOU IN THE ROLE:

• Master’s Degree in Software Engineering

• Experience with building applications on cloud based platforms’ like Salesforce & AWS 

• Salesforce Certifications

• Prior experience in working with financial institutions
