THIRD PARTY SECURITY CONSULTANT AVP

As a Barclays Third Party Security Consultant AVP, you will be responsible for ensuring the bank has appropriate visibility, transparency and insight into the operational risks it is exposed to relating to Supplier Risk and the measures required to mitigate them.

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?

• Supporting the Chief Security Office (CSO) function with a programme management service for delivery of supplier assurance programmes within CSO

• Producing timely and accurate management information in support of the governance and operating model of CSO

• Acting as a subject matter expert for Cyber and Information Security within the Supplier Assurance

• Analyze all data in aggregate to identify trends and indicators of thematic issues

• Tracking, review and report on the management of Supplier risk across the regions

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

• Experience in either an assurance, audit or risk and control function/role

• Professional risk management qualifications and certifications desirable

• Detailed understanding of Cloud and Cryptography

• Respectable understanding of risk management frameworks and compliance activities

SKILLS THAT WILL HELP YOU IN  THE ROLE:

• Preferred Professional Certificates - CISA/CISSP/CIA/ISO 27001 LA

• Ability to communicate complex topics in efficient and effective manner

• Bachelor’s Degree in any stream (degree in related field/IT preferred)

• Practical understanding of relevant regulatory environment
