US Equity Derivatives Business Manager

As a Barclays US Equity Derivatives Business Manager, you’ll be based in New York to assist the Equity Derivatives US business. This is an exciting opportunity to provide strategic, analytical, governance and administrative support as you work on the trading floor and build relationships across desks and functions. You’ll help senior management in implementing strategic initiatives, global best practices, improved efficiency and reduction in costs, streamlining business processes and assisting in the delivery of technology with agility.
Salary / Rate Minimum: 150,000
Salary / Rate Maximum: 185,000

What will you be doing?
• Supporting the daily activities of the Equity Derivatives business across Sales, Structuring, & Trading, as well as in further developing revenue, profitability, efficiency and client franchise
• Delivering change in-line with regulation/changing market environment as well as business planning and monitoring support
• Working with product teams and the broader BM team on business development initiatives including New Product approvals (NAPA), Payoff change requests
• Leading the global front-to-back implementation of strategic business build-out, partnering with infrastructure teams to drive business process change in the most effective manner
• Representing the business in meetings and acting as the Equities business face-off with Legal, Risk, Operations, HR, PCG, Audit, Compliance, CCO, and ORM teams
• Linking with desks and products to plan, manage and forecast business performance as well as reviewing and comprehending all aspects of business performance
• Analyzing performance and generating presentations for senior management, regulators, etc., and assisting in the preparation for supervisory reviews, desk procedures, etc.
• Ensuring operational risk events caused by the business are escalated and documented as required, and reviewing and challenging operational risk events that impact the business
What we’re looking for:
• Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
• Excellent understanding of operational flows and process
• Good presentation Skills
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
