    Role Title: US Facilities Mgt and CRES Ops

    What will you be doing

    The CRES Site Lead will support the Global Head of Colleague Services, the relevant site lead and their teams to lead the delivery of the approach that will transform our strategic sites to deliver what is required to maintain a purpose driven organisation that is business focused, cost effective and agile in meeting the needs of the business. The role holder will be accountable for overseeing and supporting driving a consistently excellent workplace experience, optimising the productivity and wellbeing of our workforce. The role holder will be the owner of all CRES colleague services activity on site (end to end colleague journeys); and will be the interface of CRES to the business stakeholders on site. They will be responsible for site performance of third party providers and budget. They will help validate scope and input into requirements on all CRES workstreams, including Capital Projects and the Design House. They will be responsible for ensuring aligned CRES activity across their site and sharing information to relevant CRES parties as necessary (i.e. CRM, Design House, Capital, Real Estate).

    Given the size, scale and complexity of the site leadership and workforce mobility agenda for our strategic sites, which spans all of global Barclays execution Services (BX), Barclays International (BI), and Barclays UK (BUK) business, the role holder will manage the coordination of senior relationships and business activity across site. With a focus on site agenda delivery (optimizing the site performance), they will partner with both CRES CRMs who are coordinating at the business level; and other Cres functions where relevant. They will play a pivotal role in supporting the site leader, site steering committee; and where relevant external bodies (local community, local government).

    What we’re looking for

    • Proven ability to work effectively across teams, and communicate effectively at all levels, including MD level.
    • Proven project management, change management skills and transformation expertise.
    • Experience of a range of appropriate change/programme management methodologies, including exposure to governance, controls and risk management.
    • Previous relevant experience within complex organisations with global span and in effecting complex business change.
    • Experienced corporate real estate professional with an understanding of functional requirements of the estate.
    • A self-starter with the ability to relentlessly execute an ambitious change agenda effectively.
    • Execution focussed and output driven.
    • Ability to influence organisation wide strategic initiatives.
    • Critical thinking and problem-solving expertise.
    • Thought, leadership and strong communication skills including senior stakeholder management to drive discussions using fact-based arguments.
    • Leadership and managerial experience with ability to direct resources on projects, and prioritising engagement as necessary.
    • Ability to breakdown silos and reach across functions and organisations with the ability to break down unnecessary bureaucracy that is not effective.
    • Expertise of identifying and avoiding duplication of initiatives and leverage information and insights from other groups.
    • Creative thinker with the ability to problem solving in an agile way showing resilience to overcome problems creating only sustainable long-term solutions.
