    As a Barclays US Rates Sales, you will have the exciting opportunity to work in a high intensity team environment and to drive ongoing business with clients including insurance, pension, bank portfolios, and asset managers. As part of the Macro Distribution team, you will provide market color and innovative risk management solutions to help clients manage their rate/FX exposure, meet their investment goals, and reflect their market views.

    Salary / Rate Minimum: $110,000.00 Salary / Rate Maximum: $125,000.00

    What will you be doing?

    • Developing and maintaining client relationships
    • Gaining a detailed knowledge of each client’s needs
    • Remaining up to date with industry knowledge
    • Staying closely coordinated with other internal stakeholders, exchanging product and sector expertise
    • Providing regular market and macroeconomic updates for clients and internal stakeholders
    • Pricing and modelling of RWA/LBS/XVA charges
    • Initiating and coordinating client on-boarding process

    What we’re looking for:

    • Bachelor’s degree
    • Two or more years of experience in the financial industry
    • Two of more years of experience working with Microsoft Office

    Skills that will help you in the role:

    • Excellent fixed income product knowledge across core rates, credit, and the associated derivatives markets
    • A well-defined knowledge of fixed income operations and how our execution channels interact within a client's trading desk operation/workflow
    • Macroeconomic background and quantitative skill – familiarity with the mechanics of the global marketplace, as swell as comfort with numbers
    • Entrepreneurial/goal-oriented attitude

    Where will you be working?

    You will be working at our Americas Headquarters at 745 Seventh Avenue. This 32-story office tower is located in Times Square in the heart of Manhattan and features a cafeteria, fitness center and state-of-the-art LED signage on the facade of the building.
