    US RECOVERY AND RESOLUTION PLANNING

    As a Barclays Recovery and Resolution Planning (RRP) team member, you will be involved in the analysis and understanding of the firm wide business activities in the US. RRP advise on new product and booking model initiatives among other business activities. The team are responsible for ensuring that all RRP-related regulatory requirements are met and will coordinate the gathering of the required information from key operational units throughout Barclays.

    WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?

    • Managing delivery of key content required in the Plan submission

    • Gathering resolution plan content or addressing issues, questions, or concerns in regards to resolution planning or regulatory direction as required

    • Negotiating with stakeholders on content and timelines as required to ensure resolution plan content supports the global and/or US strategy for resolution and recovery planning

    • Setting strategy for delivery of US resolution plan that ensures meeting regulatory requirements and senior management expectations

    • Identifying and problem solving for competing regulatory requirements and presenting ideas for innovative solutions to management

    • Writing, editing and coordinating the development, delivery, review and approval of assigned sections of the annual resolution plan, presentations, or other documents.

    • Analyzing proposed and final regulations relevant to RRP

    • Participating in developing recommendations to Sr. Leadership based on change in regulations, guidance or supervisory expectations

    WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

    • Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, math, or accounting

    • Relevant experience in supporting liquidity, capital and/or regulatory projects

    • Knowledge of regulatory requirements with respect to US resolution and recovery planning. Knowledge of other similar regulatory requirements may be considered as well

    • Experience with US Regulatory Agency interactions and rules/guidance interpretation

    SKILLS THAT WILL HELP YOU IN THE ROLE:

    • Previous experience working in US Resolution Planning at a systemically important institution

    • Knowledge of regulatory requirements with respect to US resolution and recovery planning. 

    • Knowledge of other similar regulatory requirements may be considered as well 

    • Experience with forecasting resolution liquidity execution needs or resolution capital execution needs
