As a Barclays XVA Trader, you’ll have an opportunity to focus on pricing XVA on client activity, trading CDS to risk manage the regional XVA portfolio, executing rates/FX hedges and improving XVA risk management tools/processes. Your role is highly dynamic with responsibilities that change frequently reflecting the fast-changing field of XVA risk management. It’s an exciting chance to engage with stakeholders across Front Office functions and work in close partnership with Market Risk, Finance, Information Technology and Quantitative Analytics.

Salary / Rate Minimum: $110,000
Salary / Rate Maximum: $125,000

What will you be doing?

• Pricing XVA impacts from new client deals/unwinds across all asset classes/trade types
• Working collaboratively with Sales/Trading/Banking stakeholders for smooth deal execution
• Producing and interpreting variety of daily risk/PnL/exposure reports
• Monitoring the dynamics of the XVA book to understand and predict risk changes
• Analysing client trade activity, studying market trends, staying abreast of cutting-edge XVA developments
• Working closely with Tech/Quants/Finance in continuously improving XVA risk management tools, models, and processes

What we’re looking for:

• Undergraduate or equivalent degree, preferably in a quantitative discipline such as Engineering, Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Physics or similar
• Technical background, preferably in front office Trading/Structuring, or Quantitative Analytics/Market Risk/Technology with exceptional interest in markets and trading
• Familiarity with trade execution/capture technology, pricing tools and operational processes, and ability to understand and critically examine complex quantitative models
• Advanced Excel and programming aptitude/experience, excellent communication skills and the ability to communicate complex ideas to a range of audiences
