E-DISCOVERY TECHNICAL OPERATIONS ANALYST

As a Barclays E-Discovery Technical Operations Analyst, you will get a chance to preserve, collect and cull electronically stored information (ESI) in response to legal, regulatory, and internal investigation requests. This is a great opportunity for you to handle eDiscovery Technology Operations by assisting in the bank’s legal and investigation teams, and allowing digitally held data to be appropriately collected and delivered for review.

We are currently in the early stages of implementing a hybrid working environment, which means that many colleagues spend part of their working hours at home and part in the office, depending on the nature of the role they are in. WHAT WILL YOU BE  DOING?

•     Collecting various ESI to collate and deliver the data evidence in an appropriate format to clients, customers, and stakeholders

•     Aiding stakeholders to ensure that preservation and collection is completed within service level agreements and with best practices

•     Maintaining accurate documentation for the collections of ESI for a request

•     Performing quality control process of the collections of ESI by other team members for matters the role holder is managing

•     Executing day-to-day requests from receipt through to delivery, ensuring expectations are met and requirements are delivered in a timely fashion

•     Assisting with the development and implementation of technical solutions for preservation and collection of data, including one-time solutions 

•     Developing custom solutions using enterprise applications (e.g., MS SharePoint, MS SQL, Oracle, PowerShell)

•     Engaging with colleagues to advise on what the law and regulatory requirements are, and how they apply to Barclays’ activities

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

•     Experience working in IT (or similar role) with interest in working in the eDiscovery field

•     Self-starter with excellent organizational and people skills, excellent time management and planning skills and the ability to work under pressure

•     Detail orientated individual with proven ability to execute process consistently

•     Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, with clients, customers, colleagues, and subordinates

SKILLS THAT WILL HELP YOU IN THE ROLE:

•     Prior experience in the eDiscovery field conducting exercises within the financial sector and working with vendors

•     Experience and working knowledge of collections of ESI and knowledge of enterprise and industry standard technology 

•     Knowledge of the EDRM Model and eDiscovery best practices, Symantec Discovery Accelerator and Relativity

•     Background in data collections and processing
