Intern, Facilities The Amyris Facilities team, located in Emeryville, CA, is searching for a summer intern. Responsibilities * Prepare and organize technical documentation and operational procedures. * Collect and organize technical data from equipment manufacturers, equipment users, and engineering personnel. * Assist with the writing and testing of both new and revised maintenance Standard Operating Procedures. * Create training outlines, procedures, and assessments. * Assist with identification, purchase, and organization of spare parts. * Interact with mechanics, utility operators, engineers, and production staff. * Assist Facility Services personnel as needed Qualifications * Currently pursuing a bachelors degree in a relevant field * Ability to organize large volumes of technical data * Ability to read and interpret basic engineering drawings and specifications. * Strong computer skills * Good communication skills, both oral and written * Familiarity with computer-aided manufacturing automation and related communication hardware and software a plus Amyris, a leader in industrial synthetic biology, uses its innovative bioscience solutions to achieve renewable products by converting plant sugars into hydrocarbon molecules.
