    Job Duties

    • Ability to automate infrastructure and build pipelines for continuous integration and continuous deployment.
    • Ability to work closely with business to understand and incorporate nonfunctional requirements in the application architecture and transform them into technical solutions.
    • Ability to guide DevOps engineers and Developers to achieve automation for faster provisioning, deployment, and delivery.
    • Design transaction processing, message processing, web applications, web services applications/platforms etc.
    • Work with managing systems and networks.
    • Identify and drive process-based improvements to generate operational and financial efficiencies.
    • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, emerging technologies, and software development best practices.
    • Identify and drive process-based improvements that generate operational and financial efficiencies.
    • Help team members develop technical, soft and leadership skills.
    • Experience architecting or deploying Cloud/Virtualization solutions in enterprise customers
    • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, emerging technologies, and software development best practices.

    Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

    • AWS IaaS and PaaS services including IAM.
    • Software design patterns (microservices, messaging, distributed and SOA architectures)
    • Jenkins or similar tools
    • Knowledge on various technologies including Mobility, Java/.NET middleware, M2M, Cloud, etc. Expertise in areas of CEP (Complex Event Processing), Rule Engines (BRMS), Streaming Analytics, Big Data, IoT (Internet of Things) etc.
    • Good working experience on Web Service Integration and application (REST API / WebSocket / MQTT).
    • Experience with DevOps tools used for CI/CD – e.g. RCT, Jenkins, Git, Sonar, Ansible, etc.
    • DevOps methodology and Agile project management.
    • Practical experience designing and building solutions utilizing AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, KMS, Lambda, IAM, Kinesis, ECS
    • Practical experience working with cloud automation tools such as AWS CloudFormations and/or Terraform
    • In depth practical experience with Cloud methodologies (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS), automation, orchestration, trends and industry-leading cloud vendor offerings.
    • Experience working in DevOps team/organizations with applied skills in scripting, Git, Maven/Nexus and Jenkins
    • Experience with automated tooling such as Chef and/or Puppet
    • Experience with Docker and container orchestration (preferred)
    • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, emerging technologies, and software development best practices.
