Job Summary:

The Cloud Specialist - Dynamics 365 is responsible for proper installation, configuration, and management of the Data Management environment.

Components include Azure Data Factory/Integrated Run Time, Azure SQL Server, Data Lake, Synapse, Purview, Power BI, Dynamics 365 CE, and several portals in a Development, UAT and Production environment

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Systems Administration – Install, configure, patch, backup/restore all applications and operating system included in the Azure Data Management platform. Significant coordination with the application and development teams and end users to ensure appropriate support and availability.
• Change Management and Configuration Management – Configuration and Change Management for Development, UAT and Production for the Operating System and Application components. Configuration and Change Management for code migration for UAT and Production environments through strict coordination with the associated development teams.
• Data Management Production Operations – 24x7 operations monitoring, remediation and continuous improvement. Emphasis will be on scheduling management to ensure all activities complete within acceptable time constraints, extensive alerting and self-recovery methodologies in order to sustain continuous integration and delivery.
• Performance optimization recommendations based on evolving and improving metrics. Usage monitoring including log file management review of the Operating System and Application. Recommendations identified through evolving metrics can include acquisition methods, database improvements, code re-factoring and more.

Education and Experience:

BS Degree in Computer Science preferred

Relevant certifications in Micrsoft Cloud technologies

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Data Management installation, configuration, and maintenance in a 24X7 environment with specific emphasis on nightly acquisition and transformation from on premise and cloud system to Azure data platforms through Dynamics 365, Data Lake, or Synapse
• Production operations for high use internal and external Portals, Power BI solutions and Dynamics 365 CE environments a must
• Data Management Body of Knowledge (DAMABOK)
• Electronic Health Record Systems with preferred emphasis on Avatar, NextGen or Epic
• HIPAA, HITECH, 42CFR related to health systems
• Strong organizational, analytical, and business process skills
• Interpersonal Communication Skills
• Leadership Quality

Work Environment:

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate as the employee works in an office setting, at an individual work station, using telephone and computer

Physical Demands:

• Must be able to remain in a stationary position for most of the day
• Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a printer/copy machine
• This position needs to occasionally move about inside the office
• The person in this position frequently communicates via telephone
